Villa degli Adimari
Villa degli Adimari is situated in the beautiful valley of the Mugello a region where Giotto and Beato Angelico were born and only 30 minutes drive from the historical centre of Florence. This country house lies at approx 200 meter s.l.m. overlooking the small town of Vicchio and the Sieve river.At a distance there is a magnificient view of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano. It is an ideal place where you can practice several sports like trekking on beautiful traced paths, excursions on mountain-bike, fishing, canoe, swimming, horseriding. Furthemore only a feu miles away there is the Motor-racing trach of the Mugello and the Golf course "Poggio dei Medici". The villa is also quoted in the book "Guide tho the Mugello and Valdisieve valley", it was built in the XIII Century by Smeraldo Adimari. In the villa you can still see architectonical traces of the ancient Medioeval "palagio".
